Laura B. Inns is a creative litigator who strives to represent each client based upon their unique needs. If you need a tenacious and aggressive litigator seeking to right wrongs and protect children, she’s your loyal pit bull. If you need to resolve your case, she comes up with settlement proposals that are fair to everyone. Whatever your needs, Laura provides you with reasonable expectations so that you can make informed decisions.

As a former journalist, she knows how to explain legal technicalities so that every client can understand their case and their options.

Laura joined Bruning & Associates PC’s team of skilled divorce lawyers in Chicago Loop, Schaumburg and Crystal Lake in 2017. Her practice began in general litigation and has focused on family law since the beginning of 2014. Right before joining B&A she worked for one of the largest family law firms in Chicago focusing on parenting disputes. In her family law practice, Laura has handled disputes over allocating the marital estate, establishing a nonmarital asset, improper disposition or dissipation of marital assets, allocating income-tax liability for unconventional income structures, parenting time, significant-decision making for children, establishing paternity, allocating income tax benefits arising out of children, and many others.
